it works! I think I’ll keep it only when prompted. Would love the feature of being able to continue the same chat response with followup questions.

I am currently using it, it is very useful, every time I Google something, I get a ChatGPT response on the side as well.

Works very well, maybe lacks a little subtlety and adjustment, but it’s already very good. Often ChatGPT gets confused between what is requested and the web resources that are generated next to what is requested. This results in unlikely responses or simply “I don’t understand” like And in itself, this is absolutely not the fault of the plugin that does what it can. If only ChatGPT (the database) was readable in open source. So it’s an extension that I keep disabled for most issues. However, to get ChatGPT on recent events, it works grea t! Thanks ^^

Welcome to the Future. The funniest thing is that I have been arguing with my columnist for 13 years as I want articles of 2000 words minimum and he says much fewer words are enough. Today I had to ‘argue’ (insist) for 90 minutes with Assistant ChatGPT to get a 1900 word article for my blog. MANNAGGIA maybe the article writer was right??? Am I really that exaggerated? Soon even Alexa, Hey Google and the ditzy Siri will integrate this Artificial Intelligence (not to disappear, according to Cyber Darwin’s law). But ChatGPT was the first. The first to give us that thrill of talking to a machine, as if it were a human. Something I had been waiting for since 1966. I went crazy, I was testing it until 6am! The last time I had experienced a similar emotion (in front of a machine) was in 1990 in front of the (Italian) Videotel, cousin of the French Minitèl. It was a little black and white box (without pictures) that connected to the telephone line, placing the handset on a microphone (it made the same noises as the FAX, absurd noises that lasted for hours). And I found the first dating CHAT of my life (in 1990!). I was glued to the machine (jealously carried in my room) all night. Being very shy, I could finally connect with others. There have been millions of attempts to get humans to talk to machines (entertaining them with huge gains, given the lack of costs). Because of Videotel, I never developed the ability to start a relationship by getting to know my live partner. And surely ChatGPT to someone in the world will also cause damage sooner or later. But they were still the first. And this is still a great victory. Fotografi degli Sposi - Milan - Italy

It’s really cool, but I wish there was a way for a continuous conversation, without having to click a button. Maybe adding a word that can be used to activate it would be phenomenal, similar to “Alexa, …” or “Okay Google, …”.

Very useful and easy. At first it didn’t work because I have opera, but the creator of the extension (I’m pretty sure it’s the creator?) replied to somebody else with this link https://github.com/wong2/chat-gpt-google-extension#how-to-make-it-work-in-opera that fixed it. Thanks for the extension!

Very nice and fits in with the UI well. I don’t really have a use for it but it was very fun to mess with. It’s nice if you don’t want to type a lot of things and would rather just click a button and have it already typed out.

So far so great! I was not expecting miracles with this extension, but i must be honest, was pleasantly surprised by how good some of the output is. As others have mentioned, you still need to closely review and amend the output when applicable but the templates provided are genuinly useful and produce usable output a lot of the time. Looking forward to see how this develops.
