This does exactly what I was looking for. The up/down arrow feature to load history is so simple but so practical. I got tired of copy-pasting my input from other chat threads. Thank you!

I just installed the ChatGPT for Google Chrome extension and I have to say, it’s an excellent idea to integrate Google search with ChatGPT. As someone who uses both tools frequently, it’s really convenient to have them both in one place. I especially appreciate the ability to easily switch between search and chat mode, as it allows me to quickly get the information I need or have a conversation with ChatGPT without having to go back and forth between tabs. Overall, I think this extension is a great addition to my Chrome browser and I’m grateful to the author for creating it. Thank you for your hard work and for making this tool available to the public. It’s definitely made my online experience a lot more seamless and efficient.

It’s great but do you have any option to hide the tooltip when I highlight somethings. It is quite annoying for me because I have a habit highlight thing when I read but the tooltip pop-up made me hard to focus. Many thks!!! Great product keep it up guyss !!!

Excelente idea, obviamente yo lo tengo solo en perfil de chrome donde solo googleo cosas para trabajo asi no causo trafico inesperado pero excelente la integracion, si me preocupa q genere trafico inecesario, no por mi parte pero igual, quizas estaria bueno agregarle un toggle? ON / OFF, o que se active ( o desactive) con alguna palabra clave, onda Buscar: gameplay ragnarok youtube – y entienda el menos menos como que NO bsuque en gpt, o alrevez si la mayoria de tus busquedas NO necesitan GPT que solo busque en gpt si al final de tu busqueda agregas un ++, o algo asi qcy Pero me encanto hasta ahora.

Love it ! Unfortunately ChatGPT has added CloudFlare in front, and it breaks the extension as you cannot login from the popup.

Some possible future ideas: - Make it possibly to reply to the chat initiated by the search query, either by providing a full chat UI in the Google page, or by providing a button “open in ChatGPT” - better prompt engineering for the snippets, maybe? For some broad search terms ChatGPT tends to output more than i would like to see in a short Google snippet. For instance, prepending “Create a short Google snippet with max 50 words for the following search query:” to each query could be a starting point for that.
