A coworker recommended this extension when I began a new role where I frequently write to clients with very similarly-worded responses. I love it because I can quickly recognize the type of message that needs to be sent, plug in the quick “passphrase” (I use the # symbol as my trigger), then customize the wording exactly as I need it. I also like the ability to pass on this CRM tool, with all my passphrases included, to any onboarding employees! Overall great app.

I use it all the time. It’s a lightweight app that’s super easy to use, and adds incredibly to my productivity.

I haveused and loved this tool for years. I understand how it had been flagged incorrectly as spreading malware and has now re-appeared in the app store. THat has been days ago, and I still have this message at the bottom of the screen: “Warning! Your shortcuts database version doesn’t match your extension version. This may be because they haven’t been fully synced yet. Please try reloading the extension or restarting the browser to avoid corrupting your data! Your AutoTextExpander shortcuts have been disabled to prevent unexpected behavior.”

I use this extension daily in my job and it works great. I reached out with an issue and they responded right away. I highly recommend this extension for saving time when typing!

So pleased to have you back! I thought my months of creating the shortcuts would be laid to waste. I just love using this tool because of its ease of use and intuitive interface. My only complaints are compatibility with all common sites (such as Google Translate and Google Docs) and limited storage.

This is one of those extensions that becomes a must-have! Works like a charm as a shortcut to frequently used lines & paragraphs. I moderate an extremely large car community & Auto Text Expander saves me a helluva lot of time when I’m issuing warnings etc. Fantastic job, guys! Thank you for the brilliant extension.

They have a really good product, that with the changes they’re proposing as of 3/4/2021 will be a GREAT product. Highly recommend, responsive and excellent support, so if any issues, please feel free to contact them directly. One note for current users (or new ones): before you remove the extension for any reason, I highly recommend clicking Import/Export and physically copying the text in that dialog to the clipboard, and paste to a file (email, doc, csv, etc.) and keep in a safe place. Then, if anything goes awry when you reinstall, you have everything to paste right back into the Import/Export dialog. If this doesn’t make sense, definitely reach out to Magical Support, they are phenomenal. (And they say they will be updating this functionality in the future too.) Give it a try - if you’re an avid Chrome user, you won’t be disappointed as it works across all your Chrome iterations. Enjoy!
