Hello! I really like this extension and I believe it deserves a 5-star review. So here I am. There is one thing I hope somebody can help me out. I’ve been trying to sync my shortcuts among devices. It always fails. My theory is it’s because there are a lot of Chinese characters in my shortcuts. I did try to use the JSON format converters but it never worked. I’m not familiar with JSON or JavaScript. Is there a way I can handle this language code problem? Thanks!

I use this for work and pleasure related items. It works perfectly for me and has saved a LOT of timme overall. Highly recommend this extension. Well done to the programmer(s)!!

Solves some pain points that the previous app I was using (Highly) has, like disappearing highlights, and no way to search through and organize your own highlights. One feature that Highly has, that I’d like this one to adopt is: 1. Highlighting half a word, auto-corrects and highlights the whole word. This helps you highlight more fluidly as you dont have to “aim” your highlighter at the beginning and ending letters but rather the words themselves. 2. On mobile/touch screen devices: the ability to identify a sentence and highlight the whole sentence with one click. Thanks, and I hope you add these features soon!

I’ve been using this Chrome extension with Office 365 Outlook for a very long time and love the ability to add boilerplate text to my emails. However, Office 365 Outlook have recently made some changes (you need to enable the “Try the new Outlook”) where the Text Expander extension no longer works. Using the Chrome code inspector the area where the message body is entered uses different tags between to “old” Outlook and the “new”. Likely the reason the extension isn’t working any longer, but I can’t be certain. I’ve reverted back to the original Office 365 Outlook and everything works as before but I fear I’m going to be forced into the “new” Outlook at some point. Thanks for the great, time-saving extension!

This extension is very useful and i love it. It has saved me a lot of time from repetitive text, however, I am only disappointed because I am not able to create my auto-text more than 102400 bytes. Is there a way to increase the number of bytes? Thank you.

THIS WAS THE ONLY HIGHLIGHTER EXTENSION I COULD FIND THAT WOULD ACTUALLY WORK! PLUS, IT SAVED MY HIGHLIGHTS SO THAT THE WEBPAGE WAS HIGHLIGHTED THE EXACT WAY I HAD IT WHEN I REOPENED MY WEBPAGE.

Just found this to help with writing some coding that I use in an online community and I am totally digging it.

Great App! Use it 100’s of time each day. I have noticed a couple of quirks or maybe features. On a few occasions after pasting something from the clipboard and then entering a key-combo I get the last paste rather than the key-combo text. Maybe this is a feature but if the caps-lock is on then the key-combo text will be all caps. Is this a feature or bug? Love the app! Great Job!

This little extension is wonderful and very much needed. I type my email address over and over all day, it seem. There are other very repetitive tasks I can now handle quickly and efficiently, I love being able to automate anything, Thanks so much for sharing wit us.

Many thanks to Kent@dottech for pointing me here. Slick program ! As another user said doesn’t work with some sites, but for me gmail and whatsapp are big time. Wish there was a right-click Add to ATE feature that will take the highlighted word and show the options for ATE and let you add an abbr (didnt work here either-in this text area:) for it. Also a dictionary would be a nice touch for ATE. Thanks Carlin !
